Back in 2011, Riegelein was the first company in the seasonal chocolate product sector to adapt its entire range to comply with Fairtrade standards. The FAIRTRADE Mark distinguishes the complete organic range. Every purchase supports Fairtrade cocoa farmers and the Fairtrade Sugar Program. All other Riegelein products are certified in accordance with the Fairtrade Cocoa Program. The Fairtrade Cocoa Program enables small farmers to sell more cocoa under Fairtrade conditions. This cocoa comes from the ‘mass balance’ system.
